Description:

Optiflex Sodium Hyaluronate Opthalmic Solution 10 mg/ml & 14 mg/ml is a sterile, non pyrogenic, viscoelastic preparation made out of extremely purified sodium hyaluronate of high molecular weight dissolved in physiological buffer. The product makes a clear solution which is supplied in a disposable glass syringe.

When injected through a cannula, Optiflex Sodium Hyaluronate Opthalmic Solution 10 mg/ml & 14 mg/ml loses viscosity to enable a smooth injection. The product regains viscosity in the chamber making the product highly pseudoplastic.

Indications:

The suggested use of Optiflex Sodium Hyaluronate Opthalmic Solution 10 mg/ml & 14 mg/ml is mainly in the anterior segment opthalmic surgical processes, when the lubrication and protection of delicate cells or tissues is needed.
The opthalmic processes which require the product:

1. Anterior segment surgery
2. IOL implantation and Cataract surgery
3. Glaucoma surgery
4. Corneal transplantation

The use of Optiflex Sodium Hyaluronate Opthalmic Solution 10 mg/ml & 14 mg/ml does not hinder epithelization or natural wound healing; the remnants of the product dissipate through the Schlemm's canal.
